Reserved Treasures Club uses Robert Parker ratings
The Reserved Treasures Club relies on ratings from The Wine Advocate. They represent independent, expert opinions on quality, structure and aging potential. A high Parker score is not just a number, it’s an indicator of craftsmanship, terroir expression and long-term value. Wines with Parker ratings above 90 points often reflect superior quality and are sought after by collectors and connoisseurs around the world.
The Man Behind the Modern Wine Critic Movement
Robert M. Parker Jr. is one of the most renowned wine critics in history. Originally a lawyer from Maryland, Parker turned his passion for wine into a full-time career when he founded The Wine Advocate in 1978, a newsletter that changed the way wines were reviewed forever. He introduced a 100-point rating system that quickly became an industry standard. His influence was so strong that wines receiving a high Parker score (95+) could see their prices and demand soar virtually overnight.
A Legacy of Trust in Fine Wine
Robert Parker retired from The Wine Advocate in 2019, but his legacy continues. The publication now has a respected team of wine critics that carry on his mission: offering honest, unbiased reviews of the world’s greatest wines.
